Past towing enforcement requires multiple radio contacts to Dispatcher for initiating a tow request. This included multiple phone calls to find available tow operators. This manual process requires 30 minutes of Dispatcher time per tow. After tow Police Officers are required to fill out a manual reports which requires a minimum of 1 hour of street time per PD officer. This increased the actual cost of a tow from $16.67 to $62.50 per tow request.* This manual process added an additional cost to the total annual towing enforcement budget
Smart City Towing Solution eliminated the manual calls to Dispatch for tow request. Officers could initiate a tow request from their mobile device or laptops. Requets wouls be auto-routed to the next available tow operator. Smart City Towing system would track all towing transactions and generate a report for the officer so that they would not have to manually create one. Generated savings of $336.000* the first year of operations.

Smart City Towing Solution enabled Municipality to introduce and manage new administration fee for Tow Operators and vehicle owners. They Generated approx. $102,060 in new revenues from tow operators and an additional $48,000 in new fees from vehicle owners. This was up from $0 the previous year
The Smart City Towing Solution also enbled them to generate real-time payment reports for City and Tow Operators which provided required Audit tracking
